Google Account Manager
The Google Account Manager is the main key which can be used to remove Factory Reset Protection in various android phones like Samsung, Lenovo, Panasonic, Moto, HTC etc.
FRP is Factory Reset Protection. Android devices provide in-built security for protecting the phone and its information It includes screen locks and data encryption. It is a security feature with versions Lollipop 5.1 and higher.
When you activate the Factory Data Reset option, everything on your phone is erased like the files and whatever apps you have downloaded in the past. It returns to default factory settings.If you want to reset your phone to default, you should make sure you remember you google account details because at the end of the process, you need to log in to them.
Google Account Manager for the newer versions like KitKat, Nougat etc., will help to remove the previous Google account registered in your phone and it also helps add your own new Google account.Google Account Manager supports all android phones of different companies like Nexus, Google Pixel, HTC, Panasonic, One Plus, Moto, Sony etc.

These steps have to be followed if your Google Account Manager stops working:
1. First process:-
- Go to Settings in your android smartphone.
- Then go on to open the Application Manager
- In the all option, find Google Play Store option and select it.
- Clear the cache first if it won’t stop immediately.
- If it still doesn’t work, uninstall updates.
- One important step is to restart the phone between every step.
- You can also go to the settings again, go to the application manager.
- You can go to find Google Services Framework there and select it.
- Then clear data, and if it doesn’t work then force stop.
- Or press the menu option, select reset app preferences.
- Then, scroll to the very bottom of the list to see if Google Account Manager is disabled. If it is disabled, then enable it.
- Go to the settings in your phone.
- Find the accounts group.
- Select Google.
- Then select your Gmail address and select the option, Remove Account”.
- Restart the phone again
- Then add your Google account back on your android smart phone.Go to Settings, find the Accounts group, select Google, select your Gmail address then select the ‘Remove account’ button. Restart the phone then add your Google account back.

2. Second process is the dreaded Factory Reset:-
- Go to Settings in your android phone.
- Backup your phone and reset your settings.
- Then do the Factory reset. Be very sure that you have synced your Google account, your pictures from the gallery to your computer, SD card or the cloud.
- Save all the important notes and sms you think is important because everything will be reset once again. So make sure you preserve what is important. Always remember to clear the cache for the app to function effectively.
