In these days, SEO has become a major process if a person wants to ranks its website, blog or any social media platform higher. There are a lot of companies and associations which do the paid SEO. There are so many ways to do SEO. One of them is stuffing of strong SEO tags in the description of the content. Many people’s say that there is so much advantage of stuffing strong SEO tags but some say that it is not much profitable. However, we know that this method is perceived by Google as being Keyword stuffing, which isn’t good!
So in this air of the confusion and the arguments, we thought to perform an experiment in which we will be stuffing bold tags onto keywords. We will keep the keyword density low. This experiment will prove everything which is being discussed about SEO tags.
In this experiment, we have used software for the rank tracking of the content. The software we used for this purpose is RankReveal. SEOPressor will be used to show the bold tag over-optimization indication. The experiment began on 5th October 2018 by using a specific article from our website.
After running this experiment for a month we successfully collected out the results of it. We were tracking out the results of this experiment on a daily and hourly basis. After getting the whole conclusion we came to some of the conclusions which are listed below.
Overusing is overkilling
Imagine yourself as a reader and see how content feels when you read it. A consistent flow in the language will ensure better interest in the subject and better quality traffic. Constant overfilling of keywords and its all possible modified renditions will only deteriorate the quality of word flow. A keyword does bring in traffic that is very true. However extensive unnecessary keyword implementation can also generate unwanted traffic and poor quality content.
Bold or Strong doesn’t matter
After running this experiment for a whole a month it is clear in front of us that It does not matter if the keywords are bold or strong. We do not think that changing the bold keywords to strong keywords or strong keywords to bold keywords really affects the ranking of a website or blog. A famous SEO planner MattCutt has also mentioned that “There is no difference between bold and strong in SEO”. So, in our views, it is clear that changing the bold keywords to strong SEO tags does not help much in the ranking. But keep in mind that changing the bold keywords is different from stuffing bold keywords.
Notice everything about the author markup
Be careful about your author markup because it was clear that both articles experienced a drop in the rankings around the same time. It is because Google will never drop the ranking of a single article but Google will drop the rankings of all the articles written by the same author on whom they have doubt that he/she is doing spam. You will never experience a drop in ranking of an only single article because it will never happen. The search engine will do only two things. Either they will rank you all articles higher or they will drop the ranking of articles from the same author. Keep this thing in your mind that the more you will avoid spammed content the more it will be ranked higher. However, it can be said that there is a high chance that Google is keeping an eye on “class=”author-time” or “Brian” markup as an indication to identify a spam author.
Bill Slawski, one of the patents of Google said that Google does take Authorship as a signal from the website or the blog. If Google sees that one content from all of its contents is changed to become a spam content, Google will penalize all of the articles and content from the author instead of dropping the ranking of only one article.
Say “No” to Spamming formidable tags
Google isn’t always taking the spamming of search engine optimization sturdy tags gently based on the above observations from the case study demonstration. Stuffing ambitious tags will lead to rank drop for certain. This is mainly real if you adjust listed content to enhance ranking. Hence, any modification of listed content material should be done best if it’s a refreshing text, for including pleasant sections or for including first-class outbound links.
Spinning articles and using paid links
One of the most common scenarios these days is spinning well known published articles by poor rewrite and attaching multiple paid links. Commonly known as a Black Hat SEO strategy, this is very shady and short term assistance for garnering traffic. At the end of the tenure, the Google ranking is dangerously behind and the content lands up being under spam category.
Conclusions
So the points mentioned above were all of the results we carried out after running this experiment for a whole month. We do not think that changing the SEO tags or stuffing strong SEO keywords into bold keywords or vice versa will help in ranking the website or blog. That’s all! Did you experience the same patterns as we did? Let us know in the comments below. We’d love to hear from you.
It is best to keep the keyword density limited to 2 to 3% of the original content. Using long-tailed keywords and strategic placement of the keywords can help in maintaining a better and much more organic content.
